Host Your Simcha at Young Israel of Forest Hills

Celebrate your Bar or Bat Mitzvah at Young Israel of Forest Hills — a warm, established kehilla where your family’s simcha becomes a true community celebration. We proudly welcome both members and non-members to share their special moments with us.

Our downstairs ballroom accommodates up to 345 guests and offers two setup options: an existing sanctuary-style layout or a fully cleared ballroom, allowing you to design the space for dining, dancing, and children’s activities.  The ballroom level also includes a private room, ideal for family use during weddings and other special occasions.

For more intimate occasions such as a Bris or Upsherin, our Gluck Beis Medrash accommodates up to 60 guests. A separate Main Sanctuary is available for the ceremony, providing a dignified and traditional setting.
